This feature is not available right now.
Also message may contain valuable information. So without user consent i do not think this is a good idea to delete automatically. User can delete manually which message they think less necessary.

There is a function to delete automatically, but it needs some php code to activate that. Also you will need to hook that function to some cron so that it runs after desire interval.
