Several times over the last few years, we’ve had Announcement emails get stuck in “Pending”. The last particular Announcement was saved 2 weeks ago and all emails were still Pending.

Every time the only way to release these from Pending is to go into “Settings > Emails > Email Sending Interval” and change our setting (Every 15 Minutes) to something else, Save Changes, change it back. Then the emails start getting delivered.

Is there a particular reason why this would continue to happen and is there a fix or something we can do?

It should be one time change.
Do you have any other plugin which may have cron change functionality?

Can you please go to Dashboard > Front End PM PRO > Settings > Emails > Email Sending Interval and change to any other value and save changes. Wait selected amount of time and check again if email start sending?

This is exactly what I have to do every time. Yes, it does get the emails sending, but it is frustrating that I have to do this every so often.

Yes, I installed WP Crontrol and it shows 15 scheduled cron tasks. Are you thinking that one of these other ones is conflicting?

This should be done only one time max. But as in your case it needs to be done every time, it may have some conflict. Is it possible to get access to your website to debug? If yes, please send credentials using https://www.shamimsplugins.com/sensitive-information/

    Hello Shamin
I have the same issue, with emails stuck in Pending state. I followed the above advice (change the Email Pending Interval) to no avail. Emails are still stuck.
Is there another way of fixing this?
I saw that you proposed to help but the November 6 reply (above) has been marked as private so I cannot see if the issue was resolved.
    Thank you in advance.

Can you please install a cron plugin (eg. WP Crontrol) and check if cron is firing correctly?

The “fep_15_min” Cron Schedule is there. However, I never see that listed in Cron Events. I just sent a test announcement and it sits in the announcements list as email pending and never sends. There are no hooks with “fep” listed. A hook should be created immediately after creating an announcement, correct?

After changing the email interval again, the “fep_email_interval_event” cron event displays and counts down and restarts. However, my announcements stay as “pending” and never send.

    Hello,

I have been having this issue for what seems like a long time.

I will try to change the sending interval but I’m concered it’s going to trigger all pending emails from all time (I have pending back thru 2022)

    @Shamim
Hasan can you please provide some support on this topic?

How can I avoid tens of thousands of emails being triggered?

Note that the email settings ‘work’ correctly. I know this because DM emails are being received.
