    I have email piping enabled, this works great for messages send from the site no problem as well as emails coming back into the site from direct email response.
    All announcements do not even attempt to send an email according to the logs.
    Anywhere I can go to try to troubleshoot this further?

    I do have this enabled but email logs show no email sent.

    Try changing “Email Sending interval” to “15 Minutes” and “Emails send per interval” to 5. Then wait 15 minutes at least and refresh your website couple of times. Then see if it start sending.
