I have set up email piping with an email address dedicated for piping in the message program. I set the chmod to 755. I even had my hosting site check to make sure it was all right.

When I use the reply from an email sent, I it get mail daemon respond saying the file cannot be found. If i change the chmod back to 644 it comes back and says can not execute the file, so I know it is finding the physical file.

Is it a location in the email-piping.php file that can’t be found?

What have I done wrong in my setup? The forwarder works.
