Hey, I have the same problem with Avada Theme and Contact Form 7 – I use shortcode [anr_nocaptcha g-recaptcha-response] for the v3 reCAPTCHA and have currently set sensitivity to 1 so you can directly test yourself on the website:
see [LINK REMOVED] and then click on the ‘Individuelles Angebot’ section after scrolling down a bit. When you enter some data and try to send the contact form you will immediately see the error about the wrong captcha without the captcha displaying.
1. First please reduce sensitivity level. Google normally do not return 1 score. It is too high. 0.5 is default.
2. V3 does not display any captcha. If it thinks it is bot, it will just block the message. No captcha will show. If you want to show user a captcha you can use V2.
Thanks for the very quick reply Shamim, I honestly didn’t know that V3 doesn’t show a captcha at all. The sensitivity of 1 was only for test purposes so you could see the ‘error’. But then I’ll just decrease it a bit from the initial 0.5 and experiment with it and change error messages.
