I have a question regarding email notifications to users when they receive a new message from the admin.
I installed an email log plugin and see all the sent emails being logged, except the “new message” email that is supposed to be sent to the user. The ‘new message’ email to the admin however is working.
In this forum I see people talking about ““Check if email me when I get new messages?” checkbox is checked at the front-end user’s message box.” But I cant’t seem to find this setting anywhere in the front end on the message page? I have a feeling that is causing the email not to be sent.
It is under settings page of front end. See screenshot. If you do not find this option, let me know if you have any custom code for this plugin in your website. There is hook to remove this option if someone want.
