As per your suggestion I’ve replaced the WP SMTP plugin with a working sendmail on the local server. All email is working now. Gmail still things that the Front End PM PRO emails are spam. Can you give me an idea of how to format the emails so that Google doesn’t treat them as spam? I tried sending to a yahoo email address and it did not go to the spam folder.
OK, thanks for your help.
Okay, it’s done.
Please tell me how to do that… my sys admin has left the office!
Hi, the messages are coming through now! However, they’re going to the SPAM folder.
Is there a way to strip that “Message Key” from the message subject?
I’m not sure… I’ll investigate this and get back to you.
Server is sending mail now (e.g. password reset). In fact it was… it was going to my Spam folder. So nothing else is broken.
OK, quick update. So I just noticed that my system is not sending mail at all now.
I realize that happened yesterday when I checked to make sure that the email in the SMTP plugin matched the email in Front End PM PRO. I won’t touch it until you are finished but I wanted to let you know that.
That password doesn’t work… sorry. Too weak. I’ll send you the updated one through the sensitive information page now.
Sorry, I just reset it to the credentials I gave you.
Okay, I have provided the info. I really like the plugin other than this issue so I’m hoping you can resolve soon. It will work really well for my proposes of communicating with membermouse members.
